mixing used and new clutch shoes
i got a losi 8ight 2.0rtr. i am putting drakes standard setup on it and i have two aluminum shoes that have about 1 1/2 gallons on them. i am buying two plastic shoes to run with them and was wondering if it would be ok to use the plastic ones with the old aluminum ones. new aluminum shoes are $15 and i dont want to spend the cash if i dont have to.

its better to just get better ones so you can have even ware.

Usually when you try to cut corners it ends up costing more in the long run.For the sake of 15 bucks get the new shoes.
