The lack of all that burnt carbon garbage inside your engines indicates a good fuel, not a bad one. Most of that crap comes from dyes certain brands use in their fuels. There's nothing at all wrong with the lubricant package in OD fuel. Whoever told you so isn't as much of an engine expert as you think they are.
some of you really crack me up. they know more about engines then you do, but i will respect your opinion.

Maybe, maybe not. They're mistaken in this case.

I never said they (as in more then one person) was right. I have been running it for a long time and it is the best performing fuel i have ever run. but that does not mean it's the best fuel for my engine is i guess what i am trying to say.

I suggest doing a head to head test vs some other fuels....I have run OD for years myself...its a very good fuel.. I have also found some other fuels that will do some things better tho....Best bet is to do some controlled testing for yourself and see what you find..

but did you know that the more oil = more heat. oil burns hotter. i have run a 20% oil based and a 10% the temps were 20-30F difference.

Neal that is what i did when i first started trying other Fuels and found the one i like the Best and have been running it for the last 2 years and Love it.

If a guy is looking for fuel that he like the Best thing to do is buy a quart of the 3 Fuels you can get at your LHS and give all them a try 1 at a Time and keep track of temps and run times and then at the end of the test you will know what fuel worked Best for you and how you tune motors.

I have heard good things about some of the Sidewinder fuels.. However here in Canada we have our own Canadian team Blend.... I have not tried it myself, but many guys really liked it.... Many fuels are good, for the most part you will only see the differences doing back to back tests...

yes, and odonnell seems to run cooler then any other fuel i have ever run (byrons, nitrotane, blue thunder, trinity monster, odonnell).

Nobody's on my question.... Why does OD. have a bad rap a lot of places? Does anybody know? Even A-Main has several reviews flaming them. This is not my opinion but it seems several people love to hate the brand. I'm wondering if anyone knows why? Just curious..... did I miss something?
