So I bought my son a MBX7 to race this year and I put my old back up Clocked P5 on it. I didn't have any pipes for it because they are on my buggy so I tried a Werks 2057 and it was terrible. Tried a Losi RE11 pipe on it and it was terrible. Finally I tried a REDS racing 2104 pipe. Holy crap. It not only works but it worked better than I could ever imagine. Crazy bottom end and a ballistic top end. This was with a 13tooth clutch bell.
This wasn't on a track but on my road in front of the house. Just messing around out front doing top speed runs back and forth I got 12 minutes of run time. Not bad at all.
So if you have a Reds 2104 pipe laying around like I did try it out on your P5. You will be pleasantly surprised. Chalk up another pipe that screams on a clocked engine!

GOT A REALLY QUICK VIDEO with my SMARTPHONE so its not super clear, but ran some more of my clocked virtus. Blue losi 3.0T yellow wheels. RaN GREAT, lots of straightaway speed and track is really technical now so plenty of power to come in tight and launch and clear with EASE all jumps. Im very happy. Runtimes reach 10min no problem.
Great job NEAL and John

Neal, I ran the BTT this past weekend for first time and have almost a gallon on it. Ran perfect all day and did not touch a needle all day. I pitted at 10 min in main and was still on the rich side of tune. I put your 6 mm carb mizor in between 2nd and 3 rd round of qualifying and did not retune. Noticeably better punch and mid range, I will do some testing to find my sweet spot. Motor is extremely smooth with 9886 pipe, was not a long enough straight to let it really turn max rpms. Thanks again for fast shipment and help!

Well here is a short video of the Picco Boost in my Xray XB8, broken in by Neal at clockworks and then dropped in the car and tuned before hitting the track, still rich at this point until i get some fuel through the engine but its already producing power.
New track layout at my home track testing, still has some more jumps sections and cambers to be added before our state titles later in the year but here is the clocked Novarossi Virtus in my Xray XT9 truggy tearing it up

Little after race report:
Got a chance to run my clocked Bonito and Plus 4 in my Kyosho cars a few weekends ago. All I have to say is WOW. Power everywhere, but smooth enough to take advantage of it. The motors adapted very well on every section of the track, and didn't have a single problem all weekend. Thanks for the hook up! More reports to come after attended race weekends.

Round 2 of the Minnesota Off Road Series was held this weekend, In Truggy, Josh ran his trusty Clocked Bonito. Track was tough to figure out but in the 1st round Josh managed to qualify 2nd, in 2nd round, he was running well when it sounded as it it developed an air leak and it stalled right at the end of the race. Took engine out and was checking it over when I found a crack/split running lengthwise in rod. Luckily a new rod will fix it, it didn't let go taking other things out with it. Put in our other Bonito for 3rd round and he was 3rd qualifier in 3rd round. Ended up starting 4th in main, was up to 3rd with 4 minutes to go when his recover pack flew out, zip ties broke.. Still ended up 7th. We didn't get a chance to get a real good race tune on that engine before the main, so it ran a little rich.
In buggy, using a Clocked Beat4, he was on TQ run in round 1 when his carb slid up and developed air leak, limped it around and was still able to get 7th for the round, got 6th and 7th next 2 rounds as he struggled to find set up and tires for the track.
He was staing 8th in A Main and made some set up changes and I was second guessing him but he went out and worked his way through the field and took the lead with about 5 minutes left and ended up winning by about 8 seconds.
His Beat 5 ran beautiful for,the main at about 270 which is normal for Josh's hard driving style.
Thank You Neal for the great engine work ! Up next is the J Concepts 1/8 Spring Nationals this weekend in Omaha Nebraska.
