Default Engine Questions

Lance,

I was cleaning up my work bench area and ran across an OS VZ-B V Spec that I have not ran in over 2 yrs. It has only 2 gallons on it and I noticed that the top of piston has dark spots or marks on it. Its not actually pitted or scarred...just has these dark spots almost like burn marks. Any idea what causes this? Ran it with P3 plug and 20% Nitro if that means anything????

Some fuels with high castor content or certain contents leave Dark deposits behind. If it looks like a dark film or carbon buildup it is fine, dont worry about it It will not hurt anything at all.

Thanks,
Lance

Hey Kyle,

They are all good but in buggy A lot of guys like the Z852 as it has a powerful yet smooth bottom and a lot of mid and top end. Also some guys who like a really soft bottom like the A872.

Thanks,
Lance
