Sorry i can not make the PNB but i will be gone to the AMS and the Southern Nationals (West Monroe,La). I have been running the Cobra for this last 2 years and Loved it all so run the Mamba some to and Loved it. The Cobra X2 is the new Axe Rossi motor not a lot of guys in the US running it Yet but it has been doing Great over in Italy. I did not have a lot of Flame Outs with any of my Axe Rossi Motors but i could be just Lucky .

I will keep in touch with you guys and let all of the People on RC Tech Know how the X2 runs and what kind of run times i am getting out of it and what pipe works the best with the New Motor.

And as i said i am a Dealer For Axe Rossi so if any one needs any Parts Just send me a Pm with what you need and i will get you a Price and be more then happy to help you.

Hey Chris, Tim here.

I ran the axe x2 all last year... really good motor after it was fully broken in. They recommended the really cold plug, but I seemed to have better luck with a medium to med-hot plug.

What's your experiences?

Hey Tim i have not run the X2 yet but i did run the Cobra and the X1 Mamba and yes same as you i ran the Medium to Med-Hot Plug. Hey Tim what Pipe did you run? I have a Lot of pipes to try with the X2 and i am getting the pipe Axe Rossi recommended i think it is the AXE Rossi 02121. On the Mamba we found the JP2 pipe worked the best and on the Cobra i ran an 053 pipe. How did you like the X2 will you keep running it this year are will you be Moving on to other motors?

I dont think there is any thing new about a X2 cobra $500+ is just stupid IMO
I think AXE should come out with a 3 or 5 port race with a $220 to $250 price tag like most of the motors now a day with focus on fuel milage and they will start to sell again. The Mamba is ok but not much of a race motor, I think my friend could just make a 6min qualifier with his. I ran rossi motors in the 90's remember the ceramic piston gold head.

Yes very good run times with jp2 also there's a lot of confusion about shiming (2) .20 shims for 30 percent

I have a X1SG Mamba and its been givig me headaches since day1. Cant even hold a tune and after abt 3gallons thru it, it seems to lose its pinch. Still the same after trying it with the ODO 97 glow plug. The manual says that the default setting of the LSN is 2.5 turns out from closed. But I find that its seems to be on the lean side. Using Byron 25% and Axe 2050 pipe that comes with it. Engine has been in the store as I have totally give up on it!

Razzie i have seen the same thing from other guys motors it is the Head Shimming is not right if you look the Head it will have a 2 or 3 stamped on it a 2 is for 20% fuel and a 3 is for 30% and for the 25% you are running you need 2 shims .40 of shims each shim should be .20 . If you would like to send the Motor to me and have me look at if for you i can do that and add the right head shims. And if you would like to buy a new Piton and sleeve i can sale you one at a GREAT price to try and get you to come back to the Axe Rossi Motors Send me a PM and i will give you a Price for a new Piston and Sleeve.

The LSN setting is FLUSH and the HSN FLUSH.

If you need more Help just let me know i will be more then happy to help you out.
