Werks Racing b3 pro

It's 4 bolt and anything that fits a Sirio or Novarossi should fit.

Sorry for getting up this 2-year old thread, but I find it a bit weird to ask questions about the b3 in the b5 or b6 thread.
My dad runs his buggy with a cheap RTR engine at the moment. It's about to wear out, and he's looking into other engines.
He doesn't want to spend too much, so that's why Alphas and Werks got the first choice.
Would the Werks B3 be any good on a buggy? He already has a Jammin JP2. I seen some good words on that pipe in this topic, so that would be great.
We run on a relative small, low traction track with a 30 meter straight.
I appreciate any kind of info / advice or experiences.
Thanks
Erik

Anyone

Yes the b3 is a good engine I've run it in buggy and truggy with a 2013 pipe. It's a great short track engine and I've used it at larger tracks with only a small loss in power on the top end. I bought a few when A Main marked them down to $139. With the $30 off a $200 purchase Tower Hobbies is offering I would buy a B5 and a P3 glow plug. The B5 just performs better and gets better fuel mileage

the B3 is discontinued...but was a killer engine for smaller indoor tracks ran one myself for a while...

Well my dad got an offer to take it for 20 bucks less than usual. Normal price for a B3 is €150, he got it offered for 130. The B5 is 200 here, that's gonna be too much.
