Default Fasttrax Northwest

There's a new on road outdoor track in the Snohomish area. We will be running and setting up on scheduled Saturday's starting in April. The schedule has been setup not to conflict with other local on road race programs. The location is in Monroe off of hwy.522. The website can be found at Fasttraxnw.com.

Thanks,
Joe

Dang this thread slipped past me! How could I let it do that...

Joe has been working hard and getting all the last details done from his emails. His plan was to head out and go pressure wash the tracks surface in the coming week or two to get it nice and clean.

Look forward to checking it out and racing at this new venue.

Default Track Location

Hi Jeff,

The place that we will be setting up at is located on Beaton road in Monroe, it is a private business letting me use the parking lot on the scheduled race days. If your coming from Everett/Marysville you will take Hwy. 2 and take the Fryelands exit in Monroe. From Redmond / Woodinville I405 you will take Hwy 522 its a couple minutes away once you take the Monroe exit. Let me know if you have any other questions. Looking forward to seeing you at the track it should be a good season.

Default Racing

Thanks Kody. Since your one of the local speed demons I think we are going to make you run a silver can in ModEverything is done accept for stairs for the driver' stand and power washing. I should be done with both in the next
couple of weekends. There will be plenty of power at the track provided by a generator. That being said if you show up with a camper and a hot tub in tow there might not be enough power for you. I will make an exception if there are hot girls that come with the hot tub.

Default ROAR membership

If you haven't visited the website yet, we will be requiring everyone that runs to have a Roar membership. If you already have it just bring it the first time you race and I will log it in. You can purchase the membership at the track or through roarracing. Why are we requiring this? Roar membership not only provides insurance for individuals and tracks they promote rc racing, run national level races and provide guidelines that most tracks follow for rc racing events. The cost is twenty five dollars for the year or you can purchase a single event pass for fifteen dollars.

Thanks,
Joe

Default Track Pictures

I've added some new track pictures on the website(fasttraxnw.com). I will be bending some smoother transitional corners out of pvc in the next couple of weeks. This will help smooth out some of the corners in parts of the track. The back straight is 100'+ which will be great for mod drivers who want to run low turn motors and will also help all of the classes run clean starts through the first part of the track. We will also be spraying traction compound to help with traction. Thanks for the suggestion, Kody.

Jeff can't wait to get the season started. There has already been a lot of interest from local mod drivers, so there should be some great competition this season.

Hey Wes, you know you want to strap in a 4.5turn and pull some trigger. Is your shop carrying F1 tires? If it is let me know and I will send some people your way.
