Was thinking of coming down for this race.

Can tires for sedan classes be purchased at the track.
And WGT is 13.5t down there (well actually everywhere besides here)

And also wondering the same as Ryan. Is there any other Hotels in the area?

And What time do you guys normally wrap up at .

Last year I heard some people left before the event was finished.

Was planning on staying a few days, so this shouldn't be an issue for me!

Cant wait to get my butt kicked by all of you FAST 'Mericans.

Hopefully see you there.

Hi Dustin,

Would be great to have you join us this year! Todd recommended one hotel that's "ok" on the previous page. Your best chance of finding what you want is good ol Google Maps. Our address is on our web site then just search hotels after zooming in on the track location.

Tires will be available track side for $28.00 USD

As for a finish time that will depend on turnout. I'd say we are packed up and out by 10-11 at the latest.

Silver Cloud hotel is right up the street from the Travelodge and isn't near as sketchy

Go ahead, amuse yourselves at my expense

The Travelodge is fine. It's nothing special, but it's budget. Stay here if you're traveling with your buds and just looking for a spot to execute the four S's.

The Silver Cloud is equally convenient, certainly nicer, and priced to reflect it. That said, it's a normal traveler's hotel and reasonably priced. Stay here if you actually care about who is sharing your bed.

BTW, there's nowhere in this corner of town to call sketchy. You'll be as safe here as anywhere. If adventures in accommodations are your thing, I'd suggest north Aurora.

For an actual sketchy race hotel experience, I can vouch for the Motel 6 in Union City where we stayed for 2010 Paved Nats. That was interesting.

I stayed there 3 times. I think a fourth time would be pushing the odds.... Great price though :-)

First, Robert, I must thank you for that. For no particular reason other than I'm a Rheinard/Tamiya fan, I've always been a little put off by Volker. Now, he will always be Leslie to me. Perfect!

Frank and Blake...thanks guys! It will be great to see you again. It's been ages. Well, three months anyways.

WGT drivers: fair warning, there will be a Team Mason guest driver in your ranks. And he doesn't suck

Nope nope. Stuart is Team Mason's #1 driver--he's Vettel (young, brilliant petulant) to my Button (incomparably stylish, elegant, mature.)

The WGT guest driver is someone else entirely. And again, he doesn't suck
