Default PBR 1st Annual February Freeze

PBR Hobbies will be hosting a one day race event Saturday February 21, 2015.

Doors Open at 7am
Open Practice till 8:45am
Drivers Meeting at 9am
Racing to follow

Free practice Friday 20th 10am to 9pm

Classes :
All Classes will be following ROAR rules
2wd Buggy Stock (17.5 blinky)
2wd Buggy Mod
4wd Buggy Mod
2wd Stadium Truck Open
2wd Short Course Open
Vintage
Novice
There will be trophies for the top 3 and TQ for each class. We will run Other classes as long as there is a minimum of 5 entrants

Cost :
$25 For the first class
$20 For the second class
$15 For the third class
Prepay and save $5 per class (Paypal to [email protected] or we can accept visa and mastercard over the phone)

Double B's and lower mains. 4 minutes each, 3 minutes between and winner from each will bump to the A main. There will be no inverted starts, each main will be started according to how you qualified.

Double A mains. 6 minutes each.

Dash for Cash :
Top 10 qualified times will be grouped together for one race(will be 10 separate individuals). $1 from each entry will be used for a winner takes all. There will be no corner marshals.

Both epic1Designs and Pro-line have said they will sponsor the event. Big thumbs up to them.

X2 comping seems to be the best compound. Tho a soft/super soft works well to, but wears out fast.

^ +1 , burbs work well, some having luck with soft/super soft rebars. It's a tricky surface @ times, but super fun.

Hey terry, I was told they will being doing some changes to the track before the race, and also changing the direction in which we race. So it will be a fresh layout for everyone. Glad to see some people from up north making the trip down, I'm sure pbr and all of the local racers appreciate that.
