Default Travel and R/C cars

I'm headin down to oakland and found a track that is racing on road this weekend nearby. I've seen a few posts before from sponsored guys or big race travelers who wrote up what they have done. I have heard that flying with lipos is a no-no, at least checking it into the hold. What has been your experience? What tips do you have? Thanks.

Believe it or not, TSA wants you to travel with your lipos in the cabin, in your carry on. I suggest put them in your lipo bag and just run them through the scanner. I also carry my Tx in the carry on. I open it up so they can see what it is, tell them what it is so they do not have to ask. They may swab your hands with that little felt thingy for bomb residue or what ever, but it's not a big deal.

The hold should be the same pressure as the cabin, but just in case its not, you can also think about puff. Inside the cabin, it's about equivalent to 8000' ft. If you put your lipos in the hold and its not pressurized the same, well....

Put all your fluids in zip bags. Nothing is worse then getting to your destination and finding shock oil leaked everywhere or CA has gone crazy. Can not travel with aerosol can either. Or flammable liquids.

Have fun!
