I'm excited for this. It should be a lot of fun. We already have enough locals for a b main but it would be awesome to see some Seattle guys come down and possiblyou get a c main going.

Any plans for a concourse competition? Would be cool to see some highly detailed cars.

Great idea!
Perhaps at the awards on the last day we can do a "racers choice" 1st 2nd 3rd.

Remind me a before the last round and I'll make sure to get everyone's 1st-3rd choice

Default Format

For this series we are running the UF1 format.
A three minute qual to start. Your top five average laps will be your qualifying time.
Then begins the mains. Turn out will determine main sizes with a maximum of 10 cars on the track at one time.
It is a 10 car grid with a standing start.
Races are 15 minutes with 2 mandatory pit stops(length of pit is average lap time for tq)
Pits are controlled by a volunteer running the timer and applying a dot sticker to prove the pit happened.
Here is a video of a UF1 race in SoCal last year at the beautiful Tamiya track. Camera follows the green car. Keep an eye out for pit strategy smd going fast when you've got a clear track ahead!

Round 1 IS LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AWAY!

Get those last minute orders in or holler at me if you need anything to complete your car.
Last night at Premier was awesome with an 8 car main!!! The current layout will be the one for the first and possibly second round. Traction is fantastic!
Most folks are happy with SXT 3.0, Pit 571 Front/572 Rear tire combo. Gear ratios are close to 95/30 for the solid axle cars.

Every car is getting faster and these are proving to take a hit much better than we could hope.

I'm going to do my best to talk folks into getting up to Mark's(TimezoneII) between our rounds. Practice = speed

See you at the track!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask about the Legends, but what are they running for electronics and such? Does it have to be a RJ Speed kit, or can it be vintage Bolink?

Thanks,

Todd
