Not being critical at all, just explaining why in my opinion that would not work well for a variety of reasons. Believe it or not, you're not the first person to suggest something like that. There are many reasons though, tires, motors, batteries, etc., and also its kinda tiring just standing there mostly motionless for that long when your not used to it.

I only said a 15 min main because i think it would be fun. so what if the tires get hot. you deal with it.

but my vote is for 5 min qualifyers and 8 min mains.

if you like the 8 minutes main..run the 1S lipo ..they did it in Japan..

Let's see.....6 minute qual....times 3 quals ...minus 1 mintue per qual....carry the 3 to the main equals 8 minute main with no increase to length of race day.

It's not written in stone. Only something most racers have been talking about for years. Thought we would put it out there to see if it is something the racers wanted.

As far as the 15 minute main....let me thru this out there....

SUPER MOD CLASS must run at least a 4.5 motor. Foam tires. One pit stop for lipo change.... 40 bucks to race with 100% payback to the top 3 50% 30% 20%....Plus a two night stay at the Tulalip casino.

This of course is not part of the series. Maybe just a extra class at seasons end race at FW if there's enough interest and by enough I mean at least 10 entries. But don't hold me to it...Just thinking out loud...

After a day or so of pros and cons, a standard length time format was chosen.

Nitro TC was added too!

Have a question. Please, please don't take this as whining or bitching, it's just something that crops up in my mind.

Is it a time thing that there will only be A-mains? I'm thinking more of the slower drivers on the track that will never make an A-Main. Their day will be cut short by quite a bit if they are basically off the track after the 3rd round. Thinking about SS and how many entries there were in the CC, would put 20 entries in their chair after Q3. I guess it's easier if you race more than one class though.
