Did a test run of the Champions Cup last night. The computer was able to handle the format, as was the announcer. The racing was good and cars finished on the lead lap, 2-4th finished within 3 seconds of each other. Gonna be a cool, unique race!
Couple things will change from original post. We will base it on top 20 laps average from main (rather than top 10) and we may give a 2/4/6 second start advance for the cars leaving 2nd/3rd/4th group.
We will do one more test run before the big race.
A buggy won the first one, a stock sc won the second one. And in the second race a stock buggy, stock SC, and Mod buggy were all within 3 seconds at finish.

Thanks to Vision Racing for jumping on board for the event!
For those that do not know, they make some great carbon fiber products. If you run an Associated or Losi you have to check out there products. I personally run there carbon steering rack on my SC10.2 and T4.2. I also run there chassis stiffeners on my SC10.2. Great local company with great products, glad to have them on board.

Mikey Brown has been brought on to be the all day, all classes Announcer for the event!!!!
For those that do not know or have yet to hear Mikey announce, Mikey is one of, if not the premiere announcer in the NW. He does a great job of calling heats, and mains. We are privileged to have him for this race.

After this weekend it seems the turnout will be pretty large for this event. Therefore, we will be building a new track this Sunday the 15th.
