NOVICE DRIVERS

I have had a couple people ask about a novice class.
Novice will be open to any car, any motor.

Novice drivers will not marshal premier class qualifiers or main events.
Novice will not run in the Champions Cup race.

Default Novice Class

If it helps to lower the price for novice class. BRCR will cover the cost of the awards for the novice class if that will help get the class filled and lower the entery fee for novice.

This is a joke of course, maybe not to a few racers
I think the novice thing is a great idea. I know when my daughter was into racing for a short time I would skip some races that didn't have novice because she couldn't run. As far as the raffle I feel like if they pay a fee, any fee, they should have just as much right to win something as the big boys. What better way to start your racing career off than winning a race buggy or good gear. If anyone has a problem with that I would be surprised. Most the racers I know are very generous.

Long day at work, sorry.... Guess I still need the help of a smiley face or lol in type.

Your dead on why I want to offer a Novice class, Choco's son came up and asked me if there was going to be a "Rookie" class, my 8 year old step son wants to come out. a 35 year old buddy of mine that has never owned a RC. A couple guys from Bremerton. If I can find a way to get the Novice class in on short notice and make it fair to all I'm going to.
Novice is novice, and our future as a hobby. That said, Its not fair at a big race with trophies, bragging rights, and entry fee's on the line that someone has a inexperienced marshal in there round of qualifier. They also should not have to lap a swerving car 8 times in 5 minutes during qualifiers because no novice class was offered.

I'm going to try a couple things a different way. Change is tough, but sometimes it can be great.

I'm going to do my best to make this a fun, unique and Competitive event.

BIG THANKS TO BRYAN AND BRCR we have worked out a budget friendly Novice class with Top 3 trophies.
There will be a NOVICE class, with a $12 entry fee at this event.

New track for the race is in. Should be fast, fun, and easy to learn. Can't wait. The big section in the middle is SICK! (double to either double, double or triple, single for stock, and a big quad for the mod boys)

I was able to run on the new track and I thought traction was pretty good for only being the first day on the new layout. It should be good for some close racing

Traction was pretty good last night. There won't be any issues with traction for the race. I saw a couple people traction rolling the sweeper last night
