Default Medford Off Road

We have formed a club, elected oficers, got a site for the new track, have done some preliminary clearing of the area for the Off Road track, and are now waiting for some fill material to be brought in.

Progress is being made.

Need a lot of help.

Check with R/C Addiction for work party information.

Default Progress in Medford

Fill dirt is being brought in and will be leveled within the next week. Then we can get the racing surface material on its way.
Things are going well, too slow for me but then they say patience is a virtue.

Yesterday there was a lot of activity at the new RVRC track. A buldozer was brought in and the dirt was moved around and brought to a level that will allow drainage and no puddling. Some of the material for the racing surface was also imported and enough was spread out for a play day that is expected for next weekend. Now we are just waiting for more material to finish the racing surface and then we can be racing. Check at R/C Addiction to get the details about the play day.

More 'racing surface' dirt will be coming soon. The play day went well. A few showed up and we had a great time. Kevin even got dirt on his new LST.
I put a little dirt on my MF2 and others braved the dusty area. Water will be a great help.

According to my sources, a vibratory roller was brought in and all the area is packed down and looks really good.
30 more yards of screened dirt is being delivered today. That means that about one more work day and there might be a track surface in the shape of an off road track to do some serious thrashing.

Onroaders don't despair, there is news in the wind. There is nothing confirmed yet but possibilities of a paved onroad have surfaced.

Dirt oval fans, we are thinking of you too.

A complete R/C racing complex, It is possible!

Thumbs up

Dirt has been placed, pipes are in and the offroad track is almost ready. The drivers stand is coming shortly and there is dirt for the oval too. The water lines will be completed by this weekend and then............... and then.........
I think about two more weeks and we will be close. Keep your cars in top condition and watch the website.

If the water inspection was done last week we can bury all the water lines and start getting ready for the racing to start in about a week. This waiting on the "Gov'ment" is really hard to handle. hopefully ew will see RACING soon.
We still are waiting to get the drivers stand and pit tables delivered but who needs that?

LETS RACE!

Default Race ready????

Sunday at 2:30 PM rain or shine we will have a general club meeting. You really need to be there. A lot of issues are going to be decided. Race format, scoring, classes, practice days, and a club vice president to be put in place to replace Mark. Also there will be some finishing touches put on the facility, well at least we are moving forward. We might even get a race or two in, if not at least some practice!!! Yea Baby. We are real close.
