Tentative schedule for UF1

I am trying to keep the races on Sundays due to a few peeps who have jobs that keep them earning dinero on Saturdays.

$10 entry fee- this goes to support the tracks that support us. If we can get some momentum and run a Summer round entry fees might increase slightly and we'll take a look at trophies and/or $$$ payouts for championship standings.

Sept 22nd--BRCR.
Oct 13th--Fastraxx
Nov 10th-- NORA
Dec--family time and Aero upgrade for Christmas
Jan 19th TZII
Feb TBD

10am start
3min qual rounds fastest single lap sets your grid position. 5 cars per round
3-15m mains sorted by time for finishing position. 2-pit stops mandatory in the first 10mins
If we have 2-3 heats of cars your time will be your finishing position regardless of gridded heat. I.E. you could be in the "B" heat and win the overall round based on your laps completed in 15mins.

We will have Constructors and Drivers championship points. 2c ars per team, if you or your team mate miss a round you can have a single guest driver for no more than 2 rounds. You may use multiple guest drivers. The guest driver will score Constructors points for the elected team and their own individual drivers points. Team livery and body must be used to score for Constructors points.

As this is as much about looks and the excitement of F1, teams are encouraged to have realistic liveries for their teams. Your team does not have to be a real F1 team just a livery that you might see in the World Championship any given weekend.

If you are looking for realistic decal sets check out F1 Paintlabs. Brad has some great decal sets depicting the current and past Grids.

---insert shameless advertising here
I have some sets in stock at Speedwerkes, if I don't I can have it shipped within a few days from Paintlabs. If you need a custom set I can also work with Brad to get your team sorted. If you are looking to replicate a team Will I ams livery or S auber PM me and I can make arrangements. You won't find them on his site anymore....

Looking forward to getting this rolling. If we are rained out on either or both of the outdoor rounds, BRCR or Fastraxx. We'll take a look at trying to still sneak them in as outdoor rounds or run a double round at one of the indoor venues schedule permitting. Hope to see all you F1 fanatics out for some long format racing and some travel to some great tracks that have stepped up to host these events.

If you would like to sponsor the series with giveaways for the drivers please send me a PM and we can tailor a pkg for you.

Thanks, Dan

I will be...

Sucks but we're trying to squeeze the 2 outdoors rounds in before the weather really turns. I'm guessing we'll lose one or the other...

I cant find tires YET.
I have lots of numbers but no body has the tires or I am just looking to hard.

F104 foam rims (no problem getting them)

I cant find any Pit Shimizu 571/574 front or 572 rears.
lots in china/japan but I dont want to wait till Xmass...and prefer to buy local.
