Tri-City and Walla Walla status

We are racing in Walla Walla this summer. our next club race is this Sunday, May 15th, racing starts at 1:00.
We will run any class that has 3 drivers and want to run, almost allways have a electric buggy and truck class, and Monster Trucks. 1/8 scale and gas truck depend on out of towners showing up to have a big class.

I think Friesz raced with you guys already this year. He was telling me on the phone that we needed to hit it. After seeing the pic.......I agree.

The track is big, lap times are in the 50 second range.
Hal, we can get you a tanker truck and run it on the oval, you can just come up behind it and refuel on the fly like the jets do
We will be running May 15th, 22nd and then taking off the next weekend to go to the Hank. I'll have the rest of the schedule set soon for the rest of the season and post it here.

As many of you have heard rumors; it is true that we are planning to have the Columbia CUp at the Walla Walla facility. As you can see the track has a great layout and plenty of room for pitting and Rv's etc.
We will have a web site up in the next week or so, the address is:

We are still planning on having the race July 9-10. With a warm-up race tenatively scheduled for June 18th.
Check the track out for one of there club races.

The layout is new from the previous pic posted at the top of this thread, it got changed a few weeks ago.
I also just got an arial shot of the track. One of our club memebers also flies planes. He has a digital camera on his plane and got a shot of the track from the air.
