The Schedule for round #1 of the Showdown looks good. Everyone had a blast last year at the final. The track was great and we had some awesome races. The BRCR crew grills up some good food. I hope you all can show your support to BRCR and everyone who makes the series so much fun. I hope all the Portland racers make the trip as they search for a home track. Let's get year 2 of the Showdown off to a good start. Thanks

Camping?
It would be awesome to camp around the area for practice and getting there early on race day. Any recommendations?

RV PARKING
We have a back parking lot that can hold up to 4 RV's. If you want to camp at the track. No power hook up yet. We may try and get one done if there is a demand.
Here is a State Park that is about 10mins from the track

Count me in for a tent/bivy spot unless it rains... Then its hotel time, no problem with splurgin a little for racing.
Looking forward to seeing the track in person.

Just a friendly reminder to those non-regulars to BRCR, when we have a new layout, there is literally almost zero tire wear, so make sure you pre-break in your gold barcodes before the race weekend because they wont break in on the clay until the track is a few weeks old. (mod buggy tires might break in a tad)
You will want a medium insert, with a nice 45 degree pin angle, and you will be set.

Hey all-stoked for the 1st round at BRCR. Just want to encourage/reiterate a conversation that I had with Derry last year...If the guys who ran toward the top (top ten or so) all got out of stock bug/Stock S/C and ran together in a mod class (Super Stock bug/Mod S/C is where I'm going), it'd be ideal for the B-Main runners in last years stock class to be able to compete I know there has been some discussion, just want to throw my pitch for filling up SS. The best part of the Showdown to me is the competition to qual well and finish well, to beat the guys who you think you should and pick off the guys who maybe you shouldn't. I just finished lights in the tunnel from St. Vinnies, its so on!
