Hey everyone what changes would you make for the series next year?

I have held the vote and sorry Chris but no 30 minute mains... Actually out of all the people poled the vote is for 3 rounds of qualifying and single a mains...


Anything else you would change?

More racing and less practice. Do we really need 4 hours of practice on race day? The racers that are usually in the top 10 will be there whether there's 4 hours or 2 hours of practice.

I think having extra time before the race gives the out of town racer`s a chance to give it their best....

Just stick to 1:00 pm for the start. Than if your really not into all that practice you could just arrive a bit later.....

i have suggestion for next winter, after the last round at trcr, lets not have everyone bale out on the spring champs at trcr.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I am looking into all of them.

I am not quite sure how to make it so the locals go to the bigger races the next weekend. I can only remind people that the tracks need all of the support they can get... or else poof no tracks. Although no series support and poof no series so it is a catch 22.

Gas hmmmm I am not considering adding gas to the format at all. I am open to suggestions. If you can see a way to run gas and not have it one the same day please post it. :-)


We will see on the start time I thinking that a noon start time is still the best.

How about doing a Saturday ECT race and a Sunday Nitro race at the same track? (Or vice-versa depending on the track's normal schedule.) That way people can come for one, or the other, or stay all weekend and race both. More entries, more track support. Nitro Indoor Championship Tour? NICT?

I like the idea of two races in the same weekend. The only concern would be the cost factor. Then the people that want to run both are still buying a hotel. I will have to mill over that one.

So like a Saturday Gas and Sunday Electric series???
