Race#3 this Saturday is shaping up to be a great one with 59 entries so far and the NWAC series championship up for grabs in most classes. Sticker awards for the day's race will be given to the top 3 in each class, top 6 for novice. NWAC series championship awards will be given to the top 5 in 17.5, Scale Spec, Mod, and Novice. Top 3 for Gas Sedan.

Details:
- Track will be open for practice approx. 8:00AM
- Driver's Meeting at 10:00AM
- 2 IFMAR Qualifiers
- Double A Mains for electric classes
* Tie breaker is finishing position in the second main
- 15 minute Gas Main
- $15 per class

Lunch:
Patrick Plueard and family will be on hand serving up grilled sirloin burgers and "Bar S" Brand Sausages. He's trying to figure out how much to buy, so send him a line if you know you will be purchasing lunch from him. Email to [email protected].

Default Thanks for making NWAC 2012 a succes

The first Northwest Asphalt Challenge has been a success, and thank you everyone for making it happen. It was great to finish the series with a great 72 entry turnout. You can expect an even bigger and better series next year while keeping the low cost one-day format.

Thanks to all of the track owners for their support, all of the racers who provided volunteer labor to help get things set up, and thanks to all of the racers who came out for some exciting racing.

There is still plenty of great asphalt racing in the Northwest this year. Check out the NW Regional Calendar to see all of the great racing opportunities this summer.

Congratulations to the 2012 winners!

Great racing with you yesterday John. The RRR race looks like a good one. That track is huge!!! I put the race on the Regional Calendar on the NWAC website.

Default A few videos

I was able to capture the A mains for Scale Spec and Modified at Fasttrax on Sunday. I know a few others had cameras out, so hopefully they will post videos as well.

Here is Scale Spec A Main #1. There is a great battle between Franko Roberts and B Main bump up Patrick Morehead for second place.

Any idea if there is going to be a 2013 challenge? Maybe TZ1 could be added to the schedule if they would like it?

Details are currently being ironed out, and if at all possible we'll have an awesome 2013 series. TZ1 is on the definite maybe list. Stay tuned.
