+1 For a series I would love this format. Gate starts are fun but not a deal breaker if not used for the series. As was talked about by some, to seed qualifying heats we simply run some 10 minute or so timed practice rounds. Take a certain number of fastest laps....like 3....to determine start position. Run a series of heads up heats and take a certain number of cars from each to place the mains. Then long mains on sunday with the normal bumps. Could be the best of everything.

I thought you did?
Can you please reply to my PM, or something. Where can i find info on the HDRC club and the track. The HDRC shutter-fly web site has no contact info and is pretty sparse on information. Or I'm blind.
Thanks just looking for info like.
1. Is the track private property club members only? How do you join the club?
2. Is it only open for the couple races you have?
3. I thought you posted that it was moving to redmond someday, and I wondered why?
Thanks

I may be wrong about some of this but I will give it my best shot, the track is on private property from my understanding and is only open for the races (not sure if Rev opens it up at all for practice days, I dont think so tho).
The club has the ok from the Redmond Parks Dept to move to a facility there however it will take a bunch of $$ lsomething like 30k is the last number I heard. So unless a club member with deep pockets steps forward I dont think its moving any time soon.

Dont take it personal, theres only a couple on the forum and they are very busy guys, the track moving question has also been asking more times then I can count on this forum.
