Awesome! Maybe this is the one ben is doing?
I'm gonna have to get a mini or something for this. Never ran a tcs, and it's only gonna be 10 miles down the road. Cannot wait!

Hmmmmm....
I TQ'd and won GT1 at the last TCS race at SIR, maybe I need to come out of retirement! :P
Looking at the rules, GT1 is brushless and Tamiya has their own brushless system now. Will have to check that out.
F1 sounds like fun, until I read the rules and both classes are using the silver cans. No thanks.
What have been really cool is if the Hanger could have got the TCS race instead of Galaxy....

Found a picture of the GT1 approved Tamiya ESC/motor combo. Not yet released, was just shown at the Tokyo hobby show. Price looks be around $140 overseas and $170 in the US. That's just for the ESC, no idea on the motor yet.
Also found the GT1 only approved tires, the B3 pre-mounts. Wait for the price....MSRP $69 per set! Ouch, but not surprising.
Hey at least the batteries are open to any hard case lipo!
Combine that with the cost of a TRF417 kit ($520) and you got some serious money to race one class, for one race...
