Not sure which 417 you have. Looks like http://www.tqrcracing.com/ has a 417X chassis but doesn't have the original or the 417V5 chassis.

I have a lot of parts that aren't Tamiya and I don't have much of the TRF417 parts since the car was from ebay and it was abused in its past life as a drifter.

Hello all! I just purchased a TRF101 that I'm going to run at Galaxy. Curious about a possible base setup and tire and wheel choice. I read the entire TRF101 thread on here and didn't find too much information about running on asphalt. Any information would be very helpful.
Thanks,
Matt

Working on getting ready to run in the stock class, wondering what the recommended tires are for Galaxy's track?
Thanks!

Thanks!

If you're planning on running TCS, I'd suggest just running the Tamiya B3 premounts, as that's all that is legal. If you want something with more grip and less expensive, the Sweep EXP 36 premounts work well. That's what I ran last weekend.

Great job to everyone that fought there way to the top. It was a great day of racing. Thank you to all that helped with track set up & tear down. It helps so much to get the track open A.S.A.P.

All of us here at Galaxy would like to thank everyone that showed up to race with us today. Its because of you that we have such a good program, so thank you everybody. We had a great day of racing today. Weather turned out to be great. Jacob Reyes helped lay down the traction compound today. Thanks again Jacob. I would also like to thank everyone that helped with the track set up & tear down. You guys rocked! I would also like to thank all the new racers that came to have fun with us today. Its because of you that this program gets bigger every year. Many many thanks to you. Especially to Callie Bradshaw, who was our youngest racer today & in my book our biggest winner.
So enough with the thanks, time for some results. A mains only.
