I know what one you're talkin, the one right off the Santiam highway. But I've only seen it, and I haven't seen the outdoor track.

Yes indeed, Santiam Hobbies will have outdoor off road racing this summer. We'll start racing just as soon as the weather allows. Track build begins this weekend, with the design and build being done by those cool dudes from RCsupercross who did all the great tracks down in Pleasant Hill.

Sanitam Hobbies
5340 S Santiam Hwy
Lebanon, OR 97355

(541)258-3545

1/8th off road
1/10th off road

Short Course indoor track, racing every Sunday signups start at 9:30

I'll get to our website as soon as possible so that it does not leave so many questions!

Preliminary track clean-up/build getting underway tomorrow. I'm stoked to start burning some diesel out there.

Default High Desert RC in Bend

We have some new "friends" in LaPine. Not sure we will ever go there or not, but notice that Bend is only 29 miles away from there and that there is a track called High Desert RC. Can anyone tell me about this track? When I went to the website, it looks like there is no "contact us" button, and it looks like it is meant for 8th scale gas. I do see where guests can practice for $10, but is it strictly gas, or do any electrics run there? Thanks.

Hey Diane. High Desert RC is a club that runs a track in Harrisburgh. I believe it's inside of a sports complex. I'm not certain of the track's status at the moment. If you search for harrisburg you'll find lots of info. I'm not 100% certain about contact info but I believe Rev (RPM1968 I think) might be the guy to talk to. Seems HDRC is out of Bend AND Harrisburgh? Iono... maybe someone else can chime in with info?

HDRC is just in Bend. The track in Harrisburg was run by RCsupercross (formerly in Pleasant Hill/Eugene), but they are no longer there, as the owner of the property wanted a large monthly rent. Currently RCsupercross will be holding their races at Santiam Hobbies in Lebanon. Once they find some land closer to Eugene, they will probably relocate so that they don't have to drive so far. When they do find a closer home, Santiam Hobbies will still be hosting races. And Santiam Hobbies will be very happy to help them out in any way. The more tracks, the better.

HDRC has an awesome track that is open to both electric and nitro. There is no power, so make sure you can charge off a car battery or bring a generator. For race days, they have a generator to make sure everyone has power. For any specific questions about the track, schedule etc contact Rev - RPM1968

I Believe you should change RC PLUS to OFF-ROAD. They have the indoor carpet track but they have jumps and stuff inside. So i dont think ON-ROAD has jumps. lol But yeah maybe they should be on both. because they change the track up very often.

* Added Rocky Mountain Hobbiez.
* Added a second RcPlus in the offroad section with track style notes and phone.

MarkA - does the Cooper racing and Repair have a transponder system? Regular track hours of operation? Track location?

Dunno about the scoring but it's in Sunriver (Bend area), OR and they have current results posted on their website and so on.
