I heard there was a Beer embargo at the Rod Run. Something about a guy named Doc drank it all!?
Sounds like fun Doc, will try and make this one for sure.

Hal is right, right, right! Track is ASPHALT - black and sticky!!
Good surface, awesome traction w/very minimal tire wear and VERY FAST!

And yes STUpid1, this is the race with beer! Let me know if you guys will be coming down (you know you want to), and I'll have them order extra!

Smitty- both your friends will be here, so you may as well better be here too. Seriously, you NEED to be here! Be sure to bring Kelsey.
(kids under 12 get in the gate free)

Forgot to mention, the $25 gets you TWO weekend passes!!!
(normally $40 per person)

Hubby and I went last year-we have a 57 chevy and did some of the events-LOTS to do for all ages-babes, guys and lots of noise, music, bikinis, beer and fuel. If you can make it-go.
We're not going this year, the 57 is being re done.

Time is drawing near folks. Entries are arriving daily! There's a big buzz going around about this event!!

And it's no wonder why - it has been confirmed that professional driver
Mike Swauger will be in attendance!! This is your opportunity to hang out with one of the most talented drivers in the world!

I had the good fortune to witness Mike win his first national championship in 1992. He defeated Ralph Burch in an epic hour long battle that I'll never forget.
Many championships later, Mike is still at the top of his game.

I can't wait just to watch him drive! I'm sure I'll be watching as he laps me, but that's okay too! Here's your chance to compete against the best, or simply watch the best. You can't get anywhere just sitting on the couch, so get your entry sent in NOW. It's the best $25 you'll ever spend!!

You will be able to pick them up at the Hot Rod Cafe.
