Pray to the gods that they split nirto and electric into two different days.

+1 on the electric only idea. no noise, no fumes, the doors can stay closed, the track will stay wetter, traction will be awesome.

I like the electric only idea. I gotta say, this is the only indoor track I have ever seen running nitros. Heck, people can't even smoke indoors anymore with all the laws now. lol

I think there will be as many electric entries as electric/gas entries were before. Most are running at least two to three classes now.

I too support electric only racing dates. Mike can arrange a different date to let the Nitro guys do their thing. I've got nothing against Nitros but they shouldn't be indoors, especially when it's freezing outside and we have to open the doors to prevent us from sucking fumes. And then there is the noise factor. Not only that, we might even be able to finish our races at an earlier hour.

Have a hunch that the electric classes will continue to grow in popularity and may do so faster without the Nitro issues that are present in an indoor facility.

Having blathered all that, I sure look forward to racing at Mike's again this winter. It gives someone that hates winter something to look forward to.

Now, let's enjoy the rest of the summer and race our faces off.

There were a few truggies last year that were already electric, and they usually had a decent turn out for 1/8th electric as well.

Just got a new electric 1/8 buggy and a new electric 1/8 truggy and plan on racing them at Mike's this winter. I'd love to see a full class of both electric buggies and truggies! And as for shortcourse, let the games begin!
