okay guys here ya go, trying something a little different this year. All tracks have a points series but i never see one finish the season with a bang by having a season championship like the real car tracks do. so this year i decided to try it and see what happens.

the schedule for the last 2 races will now change and be combined into one big single day race. since i am combining 2 races into one, the season championship race will now be double points.

and on top of that, Team Terribles has stepped up and sponsored this race, whats that mean you ask?? how about some awesome prizes and giveaways for the racers. here are some of the early details.........if you need more info on them check out thier website, Team Terribles.com

2010 Skagit River Raceways Season Championships sponsored by Team Terribles
Sept 11th
Skagit River Raceways, Burlington, WA
open to all racers, not just the regulars who have done the summer series
practice 7 am till 9 am
Racing starting at 9:30 am, depending on entries we may do 3 heats and 1 main
Season Points trophies after the mains
$15 for the first class, $10 for each class after that
Double points toward your season points

novice
stock truck
stock SCT
Mod truck
mod 2wd buggy
mod 4wd buggy
mod SCT
mod 4wd SCT
1/8 electric buggy
1/8 gas buggy
1/8 gas truggy

this is early in the planning stages so some things are subject to change.

come on up to Burlington and help us celebrate our season champions and another succesful season at Skagit River Raceways.

there never was a Oct 2nd on the schedule.

the last race of the year was to be the awards race on the 18th. but now the awards will be on the 11th at the season championships.

this will be a real fun day at the track with tons of prizes and awards for the season title winners.

just a reminder of the start time. its 9 am instead of the normal 11 am. depending on entries we will do either 2 rounds of quals or 3. and still be done around 7 pm for the travelers.......
