If you are running better batteries like lipos do you have to change the gearing from stock??
This is what i probably missed?

I run mine with 2s LiPos and I run stock gearing. One problem that you might experience is the bearing on the slipper unit seizing and tearing up your motor carrier. You might want to check that out as well as the gears.

You either broke the rotor in the motor itself or the pinion came loose (most likely)
