After some testing yesterday I turned my first laps today in an actual race. Yikes! Between me trying to get the feel of the car and others testing out my back bumper it was a little rough but fun none the less. Now I just got to work on getting my safety rating back up.

Bang on! Welcome to the club, hurry up and come join us in the Vette, meanwhile we'll look for you in the sim, and come join you in some sessions.

Yeah that's the plan except for the fact that I'm still struggling with the slow car.

the pontiac is a mother to learn, might as well be a granada. you have to learn to side the car, when you think its time to turn, its to late, just turn in early, the car will actually get to the turn. oh yea, and slower is faster

time trails will get you both points and a safety rating,

i ran a few talladega practice sessions, just on your own its pedal to aluminum. but get in a group, yea now thats fun, at least for me.

Been running the Ford in the races. It does seem to be a little easier to drive than the Pontiac.

Ran a bit of the Legends car in testing but that's it for oval.

Had a real poor race for my first as an A driver.

Got to wait until the beginning of June for the next promotion date. Road license is ready to move up, almost there for oval though that is slow going due to the crashfest of Legends racing.

I'm a little envious, have to admit!

Couple days ago I picked Forza 3 back up again on the xbox. Racing sims are fun.

Keep at it. Promotions are auto at 4.0 as long as you have the races.

I was not aware of that. I'm sitting at 3.55 for my road course license. Should be able to get that to 4 this weekend maybe.
