New store will be open on thursday! Track is being built, THIS PLACE IS GONNA BE SICK! The 1/8 scale track will be big! Dirt is a mixture of topsoil and sawdust so far. Any ideas or feedback on track surface will be appreciated.

Hay,was just checking on things in my home state when i seen this. Here in western washington, the big boys use hard packed clay for our indoor tracks, and mix of clay and sand for outdoor. If you have questions and want answers from people who know . contact TRCR guys in NW racers section.

We have 40 yards of clay coming in for the Indoor SC track but probably wont use it all. We are talking about using some of it to mix in the soil for the outdoor track. At least build the jumps out of clay so they don't erode.

This is sounding promising-er and promising-er.
VERY interested in the SC racing...what sort of class(es) or limitations are you looking at imposing? I've got a couple suggestions, but if you've got it sussed out very interested in hearing. This may finally be what pushes me to get an SC truck.
How tall is the highest jump indoors? A "make-or-break" for me will be whether the jumps are sensible or not. Have watched a fair bit of full-scale SC racing on TV and most of the jumps are pretty low actually, the biggest are no taller than the roof of the trucks. A couple "step-ups" that are a LITTLE taller, but you land at the level you launch from on those.
