Yea, we could probably make 300 happen smoothly without any big unforeseen setbacks. There had to be a cap set and at this point it's 250. We may very well go over that cap depending on how the entries are looking closer to raceday (and figuring out how many heats would be required). So, basically, if anyone wants a guaranteed spot in the race, be a part of the 250. Otherwise they'd be taking their chances on getting in.

Default Entry Update...

4/23 - One week left to take advantage of the $10 early sign-up discount and only about 80 guaranteed entries left to get into the race.

Thumbs up Re: Track Ideas - RCCCS website

I couldn't post the track pic on the RCCCS website, so here it is.

I think the layout flows pretty good, with most of the switchback turns in front of you.

What do 'ya think??

p.s. the track, not my photoshop skills

I had to change the pic, so if you already saw it, try again and refresh the page.

Well, we have crested the 200 entry mark with 31 days until the race (must be a record). As it sits right now, we are looking at 26 (almost 27 heats)....our max number of heats is likely in the 29-30 range. So, it's looking more and more like racers who don't pre-enter soon aren't getting in. If you know anyone who is planning on attending but hasn't signed up yet, let em know.

Assuming we have reached our max heats, it will depend on if adding a person to the class would create another heat....eg. if we have 30 entries in the class already (making three full heats), adding one more person would force another heat and that's what we'd like to avoid. If adding a racer doesn't force another heat then it doesn't cost any more time.

Just send me an email as soon as you know if you are going to add the class and I'll add it to your entry . [email protected]
