NCT rules say that the elctrics will not run with the nitros this year.

not sure about the S rules in either class. still havn't got an updated rules packet from the NCT.

We won't run E truggys with E buggys Jim...that defeats the purpose!! lol

Like I said, if we get 10 E truggys, we'll run another suplemental class.

Too me it's still a new class and you should let the truggys and buggys run together without a problem.
If its a problem with guys getting beat by a truggy just call the truggy and buggy separate classes and run together.
this is a fun hobby not nascar.

The NCT rule is 4S for buggy, truggy, and MT. But that won't go into effect until stop #3, that's when the NCT will start keeping track of points for the E-buggys & truggys. Best 3 of 4, for the last 4 races in the series.

The Hank can run the E-1/8 classes any way they want to. It gives everyone time to work the bugs out before it counts for points.

Tekin has both truggies and buggies, they would not be able to run both if we ran them together

What is the "tire testing" schedule for the new layout, before The Hank?

track is closed down until 10am Friday the 22nd.

I *think* we are going to run it dry like we did last year. sweep it, and it should build a groove. As far as tire recomendations, check here:

Should we glue them so the foam stays inside the rubber part, or so it comes out 15 minutes into the race? I hear that works good on concrete sections!

Can't wait for the BATTLE!!!

Would you hazard to guess what would work better for 1/10... soft or clay raptors?

iiiieeeeeeyyy... ouch

HA, HA...

good one Damon, but those were R&D tires and not Panther production tires

oh, and they weren't really good anywhere.. at least once they became foam centers and rubber sidewalls. oh man, good times...

I'm pumped for The Hank; IMO the best surface on the NCT last year! Hopefully it's the same surface this year.

Super Soft or Soft; above 90 degrees then probably Soft or maybe Medium-Soft. Stay away from Clay compound outdoors (except for maybe Pasco, I haven't tested there yet this year) unless you have too much traction (Manufacturers Cup) and you're trying to get rid of some.
