Questions?? Dirt Questions from a Rookie.

Very nice tracks! I am new to RC racing and I need a little help. I am looking to run some different classes on dirt, oval for me, oval and offroad for my son. so... I have a few questions.

1. What class and manufacture of dirt oval cars do you guys think would be good place to start with for myself and 9 year old son?

2. Is there a Slash class on the oval?

3. Do you run a mod Slash class as well as a stock Slash class?

Thank's W. Gibbs

I would say get a couple electric trucks or and buy some foam tires and walla. Your ready to race. If your new to the whole Rc picture than start out in rookie and practice, practice and more practice. In no time you'll be movin up.
2. Is there a Slash class on the oval? Nope

3. Do you run a mod Slash class as well as a stock Slash class? No mod just stock. You can use a different radio than what it came with, gear change, and shock oil. Thats about it.

Thank's W. Gibbs

Thanks Gibbs for your intrest in the tracks and I hope this info helps.

Well the popular sprint car is the Customwerks, then theres the losi 1/10 sprint. Shoot down to Performance RC in downtown Burlington and talk with Graig. 98% of the time theres someone there that runs on the oval, they would ba able to answer alot of your questions.

Do you guys run a monster truck class? I'm in the process of getting a brushless e-revo and would like to maybe race it once or twice this summer. If not can it be raced in the novice class? I've never raced before so I'm not sure exactly how it works. Thanks for any info.
