Great racing Sat. from all but one. The challenge was to try to stay away from the green truggy and buggy. I dont think he knows there is brakes on them. And it is not the other cars. Hopfully some day he will learn that. Other thhan that had a blast. Thanks Scott for breaking in my new motor and testing my new D8t truggy.

Does anyone know, or is anyone willing to share, what gearing the "fast guys" are running in their slashes? I'm a terrible driver, it's true, but I seem to be getting killed even on the straight-aways.

I'm just looking for the day I don't finish dead last in every race...

Larry, 7 cell packs are not allowed at NORA, only Mike's. But 35C+ Lipos help a lot. Also try spraying out your motor with motor spay and put a little oil on the bushings. That's all I do or buy a new motor if it's old. I think I only have a 21 pinion. But Craig's the "fast guy" maybe he can give us all some tips.

Chris, didn't you get 2nd last Saturday, and aren't you 3rd in points? I think that qualifies you as one of the "fast guys" so far. Sounds like I'm close on my gearing, maybe I just need to pick up a new motor. The motor came used with the truck, and maybe it's on it's last leg. I KNOW it couldn't be my driving...

Any chance the start time could be set back 2 hours earlier?

Beginning this Saturday race times will be changed for the Skagit River Raceway summer off-road series to the following:

Practice 9:30am - 11:30am

Track closed 11:30am - 12:00pm

Races start at 12:00pm

Hopefully these times fit into everybody's schedule with out causing to much trouble. The idea is to get everyone home at a reasonable time Saturday night.

See everyone Saturday
