I have only owned 5x LRP Flow Works Team.(in 1 year and my wife hates me) - loved the fact you dont need a program card. never had 1 issue on any of the ones i had. loved it!!!!

This winter i get to try Orca VXX for both of my cars. - hate that i had to buy program card... Me being obsessed with Bling... Aluminum esc fan dont come standard which also costed me more. sigh....

I'm pretty sure Trav would just walk over to me and ask me to dial it in regardless. No programmer needed LMAO.

Although I haven't ran either yet, I'm really liking the fit, finish and programability of both my VX-1 and VXX. Combined with the ORCA programming box, it's as easy to deal with as Hobbywing, yet feels even more refined. Being able to reverse the motor wire order is also pretty awesome. Well worth the investment in a programming box. Programming with blinking LEDs is so 2013.

Question for the group: I have a Hobbywing Justock in my 25.5 car and would like to run a motor fan directly off the ESC. Basically I want to remove the ESC fan because the load isn't all that much and use the power to run the motor fan. The connectors don't match, but assuming the voltage and amperage are close I'm assuming I can take a hobby knife to the connector and convince it to fit. Will that work? I figured it was worth asking you guys in order to avoid a $50 boo boo.

Kyle,

Yes your more then fine using the fan plug from the ESC to power say your ESC fan to cool your motor. I would be leery about powering a larger fan due to pulling more current and heating up the BEC circuit in the ESC. What I recommend is using a 30mm HV WTF fan and soldering the leads direct to the + and - on the ESC wire taps. This will provide strong cooling. Also you can turn your car off and your motor fan will remain running to cool your motor down when corner marshaling or RD'ing!

I've got a fan with your name on it if this sounds like the direction you want to go.

Beautiful, thanks Kody! That's definitely the way I wanna go. I have an order I'm going to send to you today or tomorrow, so I'll add the fan to the list. Would you like me to email it to [email protected] or is there a better place to send it?

Default J-Law Broke the Internet

In the couple minutes while my bit torrent downloads the Kate Upton leak pictures, I thought I'd mention our Specs & Rules page is updated: http://seattlercracers.com/specsrules/

Also, our first dates are up, Saturday, September 20 at the Community Center, and Wednesday, September 24 at Hangar 30.

17 days! Start wrenching now. And anyway, now that the internet is temporarily broken while J-Law's lawyers sue every ISP on Earth, we can get something done

With people running ceramic bearings last season, I vote we let you run a different color sleeve. But where did you find Barbie Pink?
