What is the stock setup for the shocks on the ZX5? 40wt all around? I can't find my manual or a stock setup online. For running at TRCR, I think Tim said 40wt...

Also you guys running a lipo on the original kit, is there a magic weight I should bring this up to or just run it as is?

Default SMC Lipos in an FS?

i'd be real interested on how you did this...can you post a pic of your hold down straps,etc...and did you use the stock body? I can get the batteries in but the straps and the 1/0 wiring SMC supplys with their packs makes it almost impossible to put the body on! The SMC battery is damn sexy and i'm itchin to try it!

I'm using a 24 t pinion. but anywhere from 22-26 works.

I'm using 40wt. I find that this works well all around. If you want a bit more steering go to 35 in the front to allow more weight transfer.

No I'm running the SP. only due to not having access to split packs from my Primary sponsor. From what I understand those having these fit issue's are cutting the body about 1/4" off the bottom cut line to allow a bit more room under the body. This mounts the body slightly higher on the chassis giving the room you need to get some of the bigger packs under the shell. Also some have put some shims under the battery mount posts and using a longer screw to get more room for the packs.

Please let us know what you come up with to get the fit you want.
