Sorry if I'm jumping the gun on this, but if I'm not mistaken the new nwic season is only about 2 months away. Last year was great and I was hoping to get the ball rolling with some talk on the upcomming season. I know since last year a lot has changed as far as the classes so I want to see what some thoughts are on the classes for this year. Foam, rubber, spec, 12th, 10th pan? What type of power for each class, how many classes, what tracks this year. I know there is a lot to go over this year and Darren, Ron, Doug, Russ, Mark, and Rick will put there heads together and put on a good show as always. If the rest of us can help them by getting on the same page I'm sure they wouldn't mind the input as long as we all can be constructive. I've done the series for 4 years now and it's the one thing I look forward to every year (even when Greg kicks my ass). Hopefuly the rest of the northwest looks forward to it too. With that being said let the discussion begin and long live the series!
Here are some possible ideas for the classes. Spec rubber 17.5 or brushed stock, Superstock foam 13.5, mod foam open motor, outlaw rubber (motors up for discussion), 12th 13.5. Also some ideas for some new classes like 10th pan or trans am. I'm all for adding new classes as long as there is enough interst and it won't spread things to thin within the classes. the premount speedmind 28 tires seemed to work well, and lipos in all classes except 12th and 10th pan are an obvious good addition. Adding a new class might be fun as well as bring in some new blood for the series. I also have a side suggestion for this year. How about eliminating the track team points this year as it seems to bring up some animosity among the racers.
I'm laughing hysterically at the avatar... oh man.

You know after thinking about the team thing I'm ok with scraping it. Way less to keep track of so points could go up sooner and may be less tension.
This is my take on things and nothing is set in stone just wanted to get some info out there.
Doug , Mark,Darren and Russ give me a call when you get time and let’s talk dates
yeah need to nail down the classes
I'm going to start racing on the carpet again and I want to go brushless I just don't know which class I want to run yet
Casey
That is what we are working on! Do you have any input?
What class would you like to see?
Wes
If darren has not got ahold of you yet would you please call him he was hoping you could work on the web page again! and we well miss you if you don't race!
I'm pretty sure there will be a 13.5 sedan class in either rubber or foam and most likely both. I'm game for 13.5 in 12th as well, but has anyone ran 17.5 to see what it's like. If it's real close to a brushed stock it may be a little boring. Last year we ran the brushed 19t and that was a good amount of power thats why 13.5 might be agood way to go. I'll run whatever the commitee decides. Sounds like the track owners have got a good start on getting the classes together 3 foam and 2 rubber classes will give people a set of good options to run at least 2 classes which is what we want to see. Thanks Darren, Ron, Mark, Russ, Doug.
