Summer Rage Anyone?

I'm surprised that there hasn't been a thread started about this race yet. I guess it's the weekend of July 12/13? Is that correct? What tires should I have? What classes? where do I sign up?

thanks!

Its at the Lazy-M racetack in Canby. (2brothersraceway) I hear its the same basic dirt the old track was. Dry and dusty :D

Lazy-M track is BIG,WIDE.

Saturdays are race days.Bring the 1/10 scales out.
Couple weeks ago he ran a 1/10 run what ya brung class and it was fun.
4wh mod is sweet out there.
Truck mod I am sure is good...Game Over Gary schooled us with his out there.

They ran it dry for the Pro Series this last weekend and it was way too dusty.
So not sure on 1/10 tires for that.

They watered it when we raced the club race a couple weeks ago.
IFMAR pins, studs, probably bow ties, would be a good place to start.

Track is 1/10 friendly, all the jumps are pretty tame.

They will be doing a track change pretty soon for this race... Should be pretty good.....

I do hope they will water at the Rage... makes the track much better.....

Big track though... 210'x110' with a 180' straight.... pretty fun....

BIG IS BETTER!!!!!

If the traction is anything like it was last weekend then I highly doubt it!:lol:

I was a corner marshal for the 1/10 scale main and there was noone getting on the trigger, there was no traction.

i think i will run losi's at the summer rage !!! tired of the ring and pinion problem on the k truck !!!got a really good deal on an 8t from a homie :D

Cameron Kellogg 06-19-2008 11:06 PM

How close is the track surface to the old Canby track?

I only ran there once but I did not care much for the dry dusty track thing. First time I seen someone prep a track with a leaf blower.
