RCCCS is proud to announce it's second "Chilly" Bowl.
This is a two day trophied event for 1/10 & 1/8 scale gas onroad cars, although electrics are welcome.

There is no entry fee!!

Dates are Oct. 13th and 14th (Fri. afternoon, 10/12 for open practice)

Three 10 min. quals on Sat. (possibly 4), LCQ Sun. morning & mains to follow

Chilli and fixin's will be provided by Spokane's Independent R/C.
It's also rumored that Doc will be fixin' some of his famous chilli as well!!

OH NO!! Hopefully it's not the "chili" Doc makes on the driver's stand! I've heard the story a thousand times, it still makes me laugh!

Nice! I will rally the "coasters" for a little over the hill play time. Fresh off of a Nat's defeat, I am ready for some more! Let's play.

What about the Chilly Bowl? What other hype is there going out for this thing? I have Brad Johnson, guardian of a sole HPI Proceed and some kind of vintage HP that is willing to make the trek over the hill and far away with me. Can we drum some others? 8th scalers are a bit sparce this side of the bump. Hope we can dig up a few more. Doc is probably laying vht with a squeegie!!!

Wow..................Brad Johnson?! Guess I'll have to put in a few more corners then! The Time Zone guys are coming up as well. Hopefully a few from Portland. Should be a laid back, fun weekend!!

We'll be out there this weekend, trying a different layout.

Paul initially said that he had little interest at that time of year. I personally think this makes him a whimp and a looser. I'll twist his arm some more. Plus I'll tell him we can prop him up on a bar stool one night at Fast Eddies. What was that hotel that was just across the streets name; Comfort Inn? Quality? Stumble On Inn?

I didn't blow anything up in Vegas. I was rather dissapointed. One motor I left out on the track intentionally too long trying to make it go "click", but it wouldn't.... so we pitted it and gave it a little more fuel. I did do this! True story: I was running a RB C6 that lost it's pinch from running some crappy fuel, it was running so annemic that I unbolted it from the car, took the clutch off, pulled the carb restrictor and threw it as hard as I could onto the dirt track and watched it tumble and roll away. I knew that in the morning the sprinklers would be going. I smiled all night!

You guys have a river near by. Never know, might toss something in there!

Nice try on the motor. I think I just got it in the mail from Scott Fisher.
He picked it up and had it squeezed!!!! Said it runs great now.
\I'll let you know after tomorrow.

Tell Paul I want some revenge from the last regionals you guys hosted.
You remember that one - I had to take a break at the half way point.
Anyway, he and I were running identical lap times. I know I could have had him (if I hadn't taken that Monster break)!!!!

We should have a reunion race. Get all the old hardcore guys out of retirement. Give 'em all rent-a-wrecks. Man we could have a good time!
I think I'll work on that one.

Any way, tell Paul he's a slacker and get him over here. Kyle might like to come, it's not so hot now so he wouldn't have to take a plunge in the river.

I hope that you are joking about the motor. The head has to be caved in from landing on it, the carb's got to be packed with dirt and I am sure that the crank will wobble so bad you wont be able to mesh gears! It was a serious toss. And it should be rusty.

Paul's gonna be a turd. Wont go.

Mentioned it to Behzad... he sounded iffy.

Kyle has bigger fish to fry at the moment.

Mark and Rick will be fun to peel stickers with. Those guys are a party waiting to happen.

Of course I'm joking about the engine. If you toss one, I know better than to have anything to do with it. I did get a used one from Scott though, and it's pretty decent.

Man..............where are all the real racers??????!!!!!
Paul is a turd. Tell him to man up and come show that he's a real champion!!

It's fast approaching, and the local 1/8 scalers are pumped for this date!!!

There'll be plenty of chilli and hopefully not too much "chilly"!!
Normally the weather gods smile on us for this.

Hope to see alot of you guys from the west side!!!!
