Default ROAR PAST PRESENT & FUTURE

http://www.roarracing.com/

Here's a place to discuss ROAR in general, and Region 11 in particular. Good Bad & Ugly

Actually, ROAR sensibly does NOT have a chat page. Never the less, it's good to be reminded of the vast scope of ROARs involvement. It is membership driven and if we come detatch ourselves and our opinions, then it clearly reveals itself to be a healthy governing body in rather sad society.

Thanks for bringing up a new thread that might help us see where things got out of shape and how we might get on track to a brighter, less blighted future for ROAR.

Aint no one touching this thread for nothing except you victor

hmmmmm I am not against roar at all.

We might become a ROAR track if their was a reason to.

What does ROAR do for grass roots bush league nobody tracks like us?

Or what does the regular small time cod club racer get by being a roar member?

Most our racers i think could care less about running in a roar race for the most part im assuming, nothing against roar.

My point is, there doesnt seem to be much incentive for your average bush leagers to join ROAR, we seem to get along without them.

I have absolutely nothing against roar, just dont understand the need

If I could see at least some little tiny bennefit we might join.

Maybe someone could educate me or sell me on ROAR ... make me see the light

basically you get a set of rules and insurance, now the insurance is vauge...

ive heard someone broke there leg pretty bad at a roar event and roar ins paid for like 25% of it or something, not a very good %....

other than the rules im not sure what you could get out of it...

not bashing...just saying

Ok i'm not a roar member but if i was roar member & run region 11 what is my pull to get the tracks on board with roar. If tracks are losing money being with roar. Then what could I do different to make sure tracks are not losing money and reprsent roar. Is roar just insuren and guid lines on what you can and can not run. If regainal 11 is the only one having problems with members then maybe roar president should look at what is going wrong with this region.
I know this sounds easy but I been in this sport for 17 years and I have not yet seen a true reason to become a roar member beside races that come in my area. IN roar events there is Novice , in alot of your club racing you dont see novice. The only track I see novice is at Tacoma. So is roar tohelp get new people into the sport or is it insurance and rules.
