winter on-road pionts series at peel-it raceway

had some good racing today with enough to run 3 mains. stock rubber, 19t foam and 1/12. had alot of fun , thanks for everybody showing up. results will be posted soon for everyone to see. pretty good turn out for our 3rd pionts race (1st technically) hope to see you all and even more for our next race of the series.

It was good to see the track/carpet come back in and build some traction towards the end of the day. First off was kind of slick, but that was some good racing. On a track that large, stock seems so slow now. Think I may have to focus on 19T for now on..

If it's possible and okay with everyone else, we should make an effort to start earlier and move a little quicker. Racing starting at 11 would have been nicer, IMO.

that wouldnt be any problem at all. we are flexible and can make things work for everyone. i am going to be working on the track the next few days. the whole track is getting a vacuum and the pipes are going to be braced in the chicane so they arent always having to be fixed by the corners. the next time anyone sees the onoad track it will be clean and it will stay that way, no more dirt. that was not good. you can thank the guy who replaced the lights in that room.. he decided it would be nice to drive his vehicle onto the carpet and get dirt all over it.

anyways lets get some more people out here...remember we are also going to be racing on weds, fri and sundays so you have 3 race nights to choose. and i will say that on weeknights racing will start at 7-7:30pm

You should also be out there every 2-3 hours putting in some foam laps so that the groove doesn't totally fade.

..oh and install a stripper platform/pole in the corner and hire some girls.

..beer on tap would be nice too.

..oh and a barbeque pit.

Show of hands everyone, is anyone going to be attempting some weekday racing? I may try to fight the traffic one day as an experiment to see if it's possible for me. I know you Seattle guys are out..but I think I know of a back road that can get me into Marysville once I work my way into Everett..

Hopefully i can be there this weekend, was gonna be the last time but my computer pooped out and i had to take to down to university village instead. then of course there was a hockey game to go to

Maybe next time Mike will allow me to fix the printer so we can actually read the race results. Instead my offer got replied to with "leave now or I won't let you race today".
