I want to be sure that earlier is better?

10am start and 3 heats and then mains?

10am start and 2 heats and then mains?

11am start 3 heats and then mains?

11am start 2 heats and then mains?

Let me know what you Seattle/Eugene guys think since you will be traveling the farthest

Thanks All

Chris

Three rounds might be for a long day if we get a lot of entrants. We already have 2-3 heats per class per round. With the possibility of more entrants than normal we might have 3-5 heats per class per round making it almost double the heat races without the extra 3rd round.Plus the B and possible C mains if there is that many entrants. We are going to need more frequent watering breaks also.Something to ponder for sure.If the turn out is simmilar to what we've had lately then starting early and another round might fit into the day ok.Another thing to think about is the guys going to the other track the next day might not want to be there till 7 or 8 waiting for their mains.

Good call jammin, thats why we need the feed back. Probobly make the # of heats call on race day. I think early is better as well.

Lets keep the feedback coming

Start earlier with more quals so the late comers can show up late and miss/drop one anyways. Have more time between rounds for water and wrench time.
maybe they would have to call you to enter by a certain time then we could get them in the computer so when they show their in there already?

Great Input everyone. I have heard from some of the Longer travelers and 10am is to early with the 3+ hour drives.

So back on schedule

Track opens at 8am
Practice from 9am-10am
Races Start at 11am

Number of heats to be determined by entries on day of Race

Hope this is better for everyone

Boy a lot of work behind the scenes still ta do, and man what a blast .

About $700 of give a ways ta sort, what is for winners what is for Raffles. Trophies have arrived for the Points Winners and look KILLER. Determine the Cash Payouts for Race Day Winners (will have final determination on race day). Menu choices, what's easy to make for 50 guys . Have new banners coming in from vendors and need those set up. Think I will try Rebar for posts seems all my wood ones get broken by racers

Power Pole should be inspected today so we can have full power hooked up by next week, so you guys will have all the juice ya need. Also moved the PA speakers to the center of the track so they can be heard by pit men and shouldn't need to be so loud. We will do the final track prep on 9/5. The rain today is great to get a nice base for working on this week. No major track changes planed, adjust a few jumps and landing, clean up some faces and the whoops. New dirt is holding up great and making it easier on us for sure.

Sorry about the book, just excited and a lot to say I guess

See ya on the 9th
