Big thanks to Al Sodano for all the setup help! Finally got my mini to handle like yours.
Thanks to Alvin as well for lending me the swaybar ball ends from your M01. I'll connect with you over PM to mail them back to you.
HUGE thanks to the Brownie's crew once again for putting on a super fun race and keeping the show going. Always a good time in the pits and especially so on the driver's stand.

Another great day of racing at the beach! A nice cool breezy start lead to a toasty, warm sunny day - couldn't be better! Great to see Nat in his first 1/10 scale VTA race! Welcome, Nat! Two groups of all classes for qualifying, which was awesome. I had a blast racing Dom and John in TT and getting beat by Dom by 1/10 of a second at the line. Hope we get to do it again this year.
Now I just need to get my Mini running well. I seem to have trouble making it go straight. It's an 05 with front and rear sway bars. Not sure what to do. I was thinking stiffer front springs, but don't want to sacrifice slow speed switchback cornering through the S's. I need to bring the car there and practice on an imaginary track!

Reminder to everyone - RC Car World runs every Sunday. Check out their forum and schedule. They run some of our beach classes like VTA & Mini, and of course 17.5 touring. They're also running World GT and 1/12 scale. It's just about an hour drive from SI, great food, and a lot of fun.

From what I understand, Al had to give up the room for another tenant, which was part of his agreement with the landlord. I don't want to say this is the truth - this is just what I heard. I don't want to put words in Al's mouth or speak from him. I will miss it - that big track was absolutely awesome.
RCCW is definitely there to met the need for indoor racing, but they race Sunday, not Saturday. The show is moved along really nicely, and you'll get home at a very reasonable time. The turnout has been great. The radius of where drivers are coming from to run at RCCW is growing bigger and bigger every time I go.
There is a lot of talk about running Mini-Z's at Maj's on Saturdays! Time to dust 'em off! (I need a new one - I got rid of all of mine - ALVIN!)
