Final!
It was a great race, glad i was able to be out there today to watch it.
Well Done to Fukuda & Mugen!
At the end of the day if Tosolini hadn't lost the antenna on his car the result would be different. After that Tosolini's car would glitch at the end of the back straight, it left the straight once and then it did it again in the infield when he hit the barrier. Tosolini had em all lapped up to P2 at that stage
Great Race

Just wondering, how did Tosolini loose that antenna? During the pitstop when his pitman dropped his car?

Not sure on that... it is quite possible though. Prior to that he didn't run off, so i can't think of anything else that might have caused it

IFMAR 200mm On Road WORLDS
Wow - what a great event! I'm so glad I made the long trek to attend. So much to see and so much to learn. (this was actually the first 200mm gas sedan race I've ever seen)
The race organizers here in OZ did a phenominal job of keeping things running smoothly in spite of the ever changing weather conditions. The Aussies sure are a friendly and hospitable bunch. Hope they are granted more major events down here in the future.
"Chris Tosolini" - like....what can you say about this guy's week? His repeated TQ runs were amazing enough, but the show he put on today was incredible.
In the A-Final he had the entire field a lap down in the first 10 or 15 minutes while driving effortlessly. Then the antenna went for a dump and he still wrestled an absolutely evil racecar until the 53 minute mark - while maintaining the lead.
Chris: I know you didn't get the big W - but you've got a lot to be proud of.
Peter Jovanovic: Great job with that podium finish! Never missed a beat, and you were in striking position the whole time. Awsome. I'll pretty sure that every Aussie rc racer is feeling a sence of pride.
(he's only 16 yrs old)
Well, I went into the day with great hope for a win for PROTOform. After all we had bodies on 8 of the 10 A-Final cars. (#1 - 6th, 8th + 9th qualifiers) but alas, Keisuke Fukuda had a near perfect run from 7th to win the whole deal.
Keisuke: Good job! Congradulations.
I wish all the drivers and team members safe travels as you all return home.
Sincerely - Dale Epp - PROTOform Race Bodies
