All accomodation information is available on the Worlds website at the following link "Official Hotel Information". We have setup preferred rates with the Host hotel which is the Clear Mountain Hotel.

There is no accomodation within walking distance of the track.

If you have any more questions once you have had a chance to read the website information please feel free to ask and I will do what I can to assist.

Kind Regards

Alastair Walker

All rates listed are in Australian dollars.

At today's rates $1.00 USD = $1.33 AUD

making it even better value for you.

Hi Brett,

I am assuming the weather information you want is for the Pre Worlds?

All of this information is already available on the World Championship website but I have also included it below.

Track Altitude:13 Meters above sea level.

Average Temp: February = 29 degrees Celsius

Average Humidity: February = 70%

Average Rainfall: Medium

Kind Regards

Alastair

There are numerous images of the track including aerial photos and a layout diagram on the world championship website.

Also for those of you with Google Earth the track co-ordinates are 27°19'15.01"S 152°58'43.72"E

They appear to be very old pictures because they do not show any of the upgrades completed during the past 12 months.

Default Pre Worlds Practise

Pre Worlds Practise

Competitors have started arriving at the track to get in some free practise before the start of controlled practise on Saturday. Drivers of note already in attendance are Team Kyosho Japan driver Takashi Miyashita along with designer of the Kyosho RRR Yoshinobu Nikaido.

Team New Zealand is here in force with Scott Robinson already turning in some fast laps and young gun Leslie Levendal tearing up the track.

Qualifying starts in earnest on Tuesday and we will have live updates of the results after each heat that will be available in The Event section, so make sure to check back regularly.
