well actually you don't with a little modification on your old one.. is it a cf or plastic? you just have to make a small cut out on the one you have the side of a 12 inch flat file should do the trick or better yet dremel just to clear the swaybar mount ...

Default rpm or gearing

hi guys,
some feedbacks needed:

is it better to have high rpm (rev engines) with shorter gearing or taller gearing with torque engines?

more rpm better or more torque better?

Happy New Year to all!

If I were you. I would go for a torque motor as it will get you out of the corners well. Plus on smaller or more technical tracks, it will give you more gearing options.
The high rpm motor will be more difficult to get right for the track your on although it will be quicker, if you do get the tune and gearing right, on the large flowing tracks!

having equal lengths left and right then center the steering horn or/and servo.

it'll also affect the toe in/out depending on the length.
