I rechecked and the pins are hitting the pads at the bottom of the car. I've just dremeled them down a bit and I'm throwing them back on for a test. They are definitely wider than the stock pads.

Dont necessarily think going to a new car is better.
He runs a stock G4S with ED tranny and a front diff. Everything else is box stock.
Congratulations to Raymond on his performance @ the 2nd SA Nationals! I was there and he drove like a champ! The car proofed that you do not need the "FAMOUS BRAND" names to do it!

I'm using a 950mAh Li-Po in my G4S. It's only a little bit bigger then the stock NimH pack so not too much modification needed to the top deck to get it to fit.
I usually go through practice, all the qualifiers then re-charge for the mains.

I think that's why I decided not to change to another brand of car. The car is good and can do better as a car, then I can do as a driver........... if you get what I mean. I know the car and can steadily improve my driving standard knowing full well that the car can take it. There's also always updates, improvements and plenty of tuning options available, more then most I'd say, that I can use to get the best out of the car and carry on doing the facinating, and oh so enjoyable activity of testing and seeing what works best for me.

Thats why I'm staying with the TM G4.

Regards,

British Menace

I have two G4s'. I'm selling one on ebay right now because I want to concentrate on one car. The other car is a keeper.

does it matter whether a 6V 2A or 6V 5A regulator is being used?

another thing is how do you monitor yr rx lipo from dropping below 2.7V per cell? i.e. dropping below 5.4V...

I am still having the damn problem of my rear dogbones falling out even though my pivot balls are set to manual specs.

I might as well buy unis for the rear too.
