Can you explain how you modified you clutch/pinion bell set-up to fit G4s. What parts were used?

Good to see the F430 back on your avatar asw. On holiday I found a 2 sq metre shop off Poppies Lane ( off Legian ) with a used G4S for sale with other bits and pieces.

See there is a UFO2 upgrade kit that will be available too K14137-1
From the photo it looks to just be an update to an ED clutch bell and their yellow spring.

With the UFO already being the best clutch on the market I wouldn't expect a significant change.

If yes are you still using it?

But the weather is too hot!!

i changed shock spring, shock position, width, toe-in, camber.. etc on..

But car activity was not changed.

maybe.. too hot ground temperature disregard the car setting.

so i changed tire degree and test it.. (unbalanced setting)

then.. my g4s go well...

i record my best lap in that circuit.. 16.874 sec.

i record number one best lap among korean RC Driver in today.

the 2nd best lap driver is NT1(Mr Goo) 16.965 sec.

(he is winner the recent korea serpent cup. i did not join the race for FEMCA sequela ^^;;

I used the spektrum micro and found it be much more reliable than the std pro receiver. I have since switched to Futaba FASST due to module failures but never had a problem with the micro receiver.

I am using the Pro recivers as i was warned against using the grey coloured ones and also not to try the micr reciever by a lot of off road guys. They swear the pro reciever is more reliable.
Being that i ru stick i have only teh Spektrum option at the moment untill i can get my hands on the new Sanway system for my Super EXZES stick radio.

yes tire shore!!

i started front 40, rear 40.. and tested front 37, rear 37..

But my G4S had much understeer in cornering.

i changed many setup to lose rear grip(Traction)

But rear grip did not lose..

when i turn max steering and full Thorttle..

My G4S did not spin turn........... --;;;

so i changed front 37 rear 40.... then.. understeer was solved.

i learn tire setup is very important and tire effect is big!!!

i made a hole on serpent hole.. and tested it..

But serpent clutch shoe weared unbalanced..
(maybe i made a hole wrong)

UFO G4S clutch had problem in shoe..

the shoe was very thin against serpent, mugen one.

so G4S shoe's life is too short (about 2-3 weeks.. of course my standard)

i know as UFO2 solved the shoe problem.

But it did not released yet..

so i will test Knack Clutch System(MTX-4) in this weekend.

Yes I use the SR3500 Receiver.
I use it along with the Pro module.

I do still use the 'Pro' receiver too in the spare car. Funnily enough I'm putting the pro receiver in the race car as I've had some........"confidence" issues with the SR3500.

What I mean is, occasionally when you turn on the SR3500, ie the car. It does not communicate? Other times it takes maybe 10 seconds to link up with the transmitter before I have control?
Although once the SR3500 is in communication with the transmitter, I don't have any problems!!?

It's only when I first switch the car on (power up the receiver) that I see this. It's strange. I have tried re-binding the SR3500, but does not seam to make a difference.

What probs' have you had?
By the way. This SR3500 was one SPEKTRUM sent me to replace the one I bought which would not communicate over 300mm (Yes, 300mm !!) away from the car?

So now I have the Pro receiver in my race car and the SR3500 in the spare car. More confidence than anything else.
