Default G4 Le Mans

I purchased the G4 Le Mans RTR, since I hadn't run nitro just electric, great value. Raced it the first time yesterday, and was suprised how well the car and myself performed. I have a few questions. the current track config. I race on has a150 foot straight and is pretty technical, with medium bite treated (grape soda) asphalt. My car has the sedan bumper conversion, sway bars front and back, running 63.0 rear and 60.0 front stagger, my own upgraded electronics. The track is best suited for a diff. not a oneway. The car pushes on power and is loose comming out of the turns. I'm wondering if that could be the result of the overdrive feature. 1. Does anyone know what size the side pullies are that come with the car, or a sugesstion as to what size I should use to help with the push and loose conditions on the car, and if I should change to different gearing (pinions) what size should I use?
2. Would I be better off to buy the upgrade kit, or just the parts you think would help, or would I be better off to buy the G4s? The only thing I'm not too keen on is the receiver mount underneath the chassis and the tight fit for the upper alum deck for elect. wires, pt and such.

Thanks,

THE PULLEY SIZE ON g4 DEFAULT IS
19T FOR BOTH PULLEY ON 2SPEED SHAFT,
27T AND 18T ON THE MIDDLE SHAFT,

TO SOLVE THE PUSH PROBLEM, I THINK YOU CAN PLAY ARROUND THE SETUP AND SEE HOW IT GOES.

G4 LE-MAN IS PRETTY MUCH SAME SETUP AS G4S EXCEPT THE STEERING AND CLUTCH. YES G4S COME WITH A LOT OF OPTIONS PARTS BUT SINCE YOUR LE-MAN IS ALREADY UPGRADED, BE HAPPY WITH IT.

CONVERYTION KIT VERSUS G45, GO WITH G4S BECAUSE YOU WILL HAVE NOT ONLY THE CHASSIS AND STEERING BUT ALSO THE UFO CENTAX, ALU.+ CARBON REAR SHOCK TOWER, FRONT GRAPHITE SHOCK TOWER...... TOO MANY THAT YOU DON'T GET IN THE CONVERTION SET ,

THE CONVERTION SET IS MAINLY FOR THOSE WHO HAS THE G4C/E/EVO. IN YOUR CASE, EITHER STICK WITH LE-MAN OR BUY A G4S TO HAVE ALL THOSE BLING STUFF + ALMOST A WHOLE CAR OF SPARE PARTS.THAT IS WHAT I DO

Hi jtveten,

I am not sure of the pullies in the G4 LeMans, but if you have the 27T plastic pulley at the front of the long belt, then your tyre sizes should be the same or up to 1mm smaller on front.

If you want to run 63mm rear and 60mm front, then i would suggest using the 26T alu pulley (k1405) this will give you close to 50/50 drive ratio, and should hopefully cure your handling problems.

Good Luck.

Another option is to shorten the wheel base from the front by 2 mm. use extra caster spacers for the upper arms. This works well.
Cheers

Default FEMCA Championship

Two G4S in the final, qualified in 4th & 5th, but finished in 5th & 6th.

FEMCA Champion Toshiyuki Iwamoto tests drive the G4S after the race. He is quite satisfied with the G4S. The lap time is fast.

World Champion Adrien Bertin works on the UFO clutch set for a G4S/Sirio driver.

\
Adrien Bertin is also using Team Magic F8 car bag like other pros.

Team magic fans TM has released some initial information on their new upcomming 1/8th buggy. This new buggy will be like none other.if you look carefully at the picture it appears the engine is centrally located. It has a modular radio tray that quick releases from the chassis for easy car cleaning and all the radio gear is encased in a central tunnel in the radio tray.
