I've just tested a G4JR RTR and I can tell you that the thing is a weapon !.....great car to start off with , and with a few bits could be really competitive in any class

I've never had the RTR but I've raced against a couple of them. They performed really well.......
The guys, once they had got used to them, put better motors in and some, not many, upgrade performance parts on. Roll bars and different srings and the like. They were beating many top line race cars !!

Not bad I must say.

Ok, I got the missing part for my ufo clutch.

my question is: I went to assemble the clutch on my engine and in the book it calls for 3 shims between the shaft and clutch bell and the article that razzor posted it calls for 2-3. well, i have to put like 5 or 6 of them on before the clutch bell feels like it isnt touching the shoe. is this normal? am i doing something wrong. also, how much end play should i have left when all said and done?

thanks for the continued education!

dont worry about it, there's nothing wrong...
there're no 'fixed number' of shims to be used as standard. as long as the clutch gap is about 0.4-0.5mm, it'll be ok.

Thats correct just keep adding shims till you get correct gap and the same applies for the shims below the clutch bearing for endplay.
.5mm is a good starting point and some guys go up to .7mm for a bit more punch on a good track.

Default some parts change

I changed Some G4RS Parts to G4S.. (Front Sus-arm,Knuckle Arm,Front Upper Arm)

I Got TOP Position in last weekend Local Race A-main.

But I made one mistake.

I tried to pass Tail Group against my will.

The CRASH was happened.. and some parts were broken.

I think that G4RS's some parts(arm, knuckle) is too weak...

So i replaced to some G4S Parts.

I downloaded the worlds videos from 3hobby and finally had time to watch it.
Have to say Barry's RS was looking real good, so looking forward to any advice or setup suggestions he has.

I want to ask you guys a question.....

Do you guys prefer a STRONG bumper to protect the front arms (but chances to have a tweaked chassis BUT the car is still running and only required a little driving adjustment..since many were mentioned TM front arms are soft and easy to break).

OR....prefer the stock soft bumper and let the arm breaks and DNF...?

I have the car for 4 months now...not 1 arm were broken, and yes I did wreck the car hard couple times but not crazy hard. Happened 2 times the rear upright linkage where popped off, so I installed the ballcup the opposite side to avoid that happen again...
